Warwickshire County Council is looking for a Workforce Assistant to help deliver accurate, customer-focused workforce systems support. The Workforce Information Systems team sits within the Pay & Systems Service, part of Workforce Services, supporting reliable, accurate and customer-focused services for our employees and traded customers.
As a Workforce Assistant, you will provide first line support for our core workforce systems (iTrent and Hornbill) by responding to customer queries and maintaining accurate system records. Your role will support the delivery of workforce services that align with our people strategy and service offer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support customers through our CRM System, phone and instant messaging.
- Analyse straightforward issues and escalate where specialist input is needed.
- Maintain accurate workforce system records and structures.
- Correct data quality issues and keep guidance materials up to date.
- Work collaboratively across the team and identify service improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who can analyse information and solve problems.
- A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage interruptions.
- Experience of handling manual or digital information.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and email.
- A positive attitude to teamwork and customer service.
