Warwickshire County Council, WCC, has an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking for a challenge to help deliver a safe and compliant home to school transport service. They must be capable of working as a team and as an individual.

About The Role

This role is within Warwickshire County Council’s Home to School Transport Service in the Specialist Transport Risk Assessment Team. The role entails creating risk assessments based on individual needs, dealing with day‑to‑day issues on specialist transport around health and safety, gathering information regarding safe walking routes, inspecting our operators and delivering PATS (passenger assistant training standards). Experience of working with children and/or adults with special educational needs is essential. You will be part of a team of six specialist transport risk assessors.

You will predominantly be working from home, however there is the option to work in several WCC locations while also visiting education establishments when required or the role allows.
