The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 £ per year.

We’re looking for a Junior Web Editor to work with ICT colleagues and services across the council to improve online user experiences for Warwickshire residents.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver customer‑focussed services via our online platforms.
  • Contribute to the support and maintenance of multiple systems, both for internal use as well as external customer facing.
  • Make improvements to web content to enable accessibility, readability and to bring in line with the digital style guide.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across business, managing expectations and influencing views and opinions.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

About You

You should bring the following experience and skills:

  • At least one year’s experience of using a CMS to manage web content.
  • The ability to independently interpret and analyse web requests logged or situations and to produce solutions.
  • The ability to organise own workload and decide priorities.
  • Experience of ensuring the content of the sites is in line with business requirements and to industry best practices.
  • Experience of contributing to the development of web policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion principles.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Excellent knowledge of HTML.
  • Good practicable knowledge of web technologies and industry best practices.
  • Experience of stakeholder management.
  • Experience of providing information and advice, including the ability to communicate complicated information regarding web technologies to varied audiences.
  • Aware of, and strong commitment to, customer care.
  • Confidence to promote good practice and challenge content quality issues.
