About Us The Section 38 team, part of the Planning & Environment division, supports the continued economic regeneration of Warwickshire. The team handles projects varying in scale, location and complexity, providing statutory highway advice to local planning authorities, pre‑application advice, and carrying out technical approvals and inspections for new road adoptions throughout the county.
About The Role
The successful applicant will work in the technical approvals team, where they will apply their experience and knowledge to develop their career within a streamlined job description that encompasses both planning and technical approval/inspection work areas.
Key Requirements
- Motivated, creative and organized.
- Willing to take responsibility for the success of activities and make independent decisions.
- Good knowledge and experience of highway construction to ensure delivery of high‑quality schemes.
- Relevant degree, a full relevant professional qualification, or significant experience managing large projects at a senior level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external colleagues and customers.
- Ability to travel effectively throughout Warwickshire.
