Duties of the role:
- Safeguarding and Sensitive Information Management: Coordinate MARAC cases within strict timescales, ensuring highly sensitive domestic abuse information is shared securely and confidentially with partner agencies and Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) in schools.
- MAPPA Information Management: Handle and process high-level, complex Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) information concerning high-risk individuals and their victims, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism and information governance.
- MHISC Referral Processing: Manage the end-to-end administration of MHISC referrals, ensuring children and young people are referred to intervention providers as quickly as possible.
- Database and Case Management: Use Mosaic (CRM) daily to maintain accurate family records, log actions taken, extract reports and support the effective management of safeguarding and social care cases.
- Call Handling, Triage and De-escalation: Act as a key point of contact for parents, carers and professionals seeking support, particularly where they are unable to contact their allocated social worker.
- Financial and Operational Support: Manage financial transactions within Agresso, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, monitoring payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Problem Solving and Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex financial queries independently by analysing historical records, reconciling data discrepancies and resolving purchase order and supplier account issues.
- Data and Systems Management: Maintain accurate records, develop and manage detailed spreadsheets, and prepare high-quality documentation and reports for senior management as required.

Please note that as this is an apprenticeship linked to government funding, where eligibility for funding is in part based on prior learning and experience. Applicants must not already hold a Business Administration or Business Management qualification at Level 3 or above, and should not already have extensive experience (one year or more) of working in administrative roles.
