Street Scene operations are seeking to recruit Waste Collections Operatives to work within our Waste and Street Cleansing services. Our teams work borough wide and across multiple waste types including residual waste, recycling, garden waste and trade waste.
Being familiar with Walsall and experience in the industry, along with some knowledge in any of these disciplines will be an advantage to applicants. We are seeking individuals who can accommodate the physical demands relating to the services we deliver and can help us provide a key service to the public of Walsall.
The role requires applicants to have the ability to provide high quality customer service and to communicate verbally with customers in accurate spoken English. The role can also lead to further internal opportunities for full time employment and roles.
Hours of work: 37 hours – Monday to Friday, shift starting at 06:15 and ending at 16:15 with a 45 minute break. Annualised hour contract with annual leave commitments calculated in hours.
