Hopedale Children & Family Services, Cherry Tree School, Walsall, is part of a rapidly growing group of independent special schools across Staffordshire and Cheshire. We provide holistic care, education, and therapy, and we are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to help nurture our pupils.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Passionate about supporting the education of pupils with complex social, emotional, mental health, and learning difficulties.
- Able to manage pupil behaviour in an environment where physical intervention may be required to ensure safety.
- Willing to support the personal care needs of pupils.
- Qualifications in supporting teaching and learning or experience working with children is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Required to hold an enhanced DBS clearance with children's barred list check.
- Committed to safeguarding, equality, and diversity, following all guidance and regulations.
