Fixed Term Contract – 1 year
We are seeking to employ two full‑time Early Career Teachers (M1) to join our team from 1st September 2026. The positions will be full‑time 32.5 hours per week over 5 days.
Alumwell Junior School is an Ofsted rated “Good” junior school with 3‑form entry year groups and 360 pupils, situated near Walsall town centre. We are an inclusive and friendly school, with a strong community‑based ethos, and part of the Cadmus Family of schools.
The successful candidates will be:
- Registered with an appropriate body as an ECT and eligible for courses and training
- Mentored by a qualified mentor and induction tutor
- Offered ECT release time in line with current guidelines
- Offered additional training through Cadmus family of schools
- Training on evidence‑based teaching strategies
We are looking for committed and passionate teachers who can enthuse and motivate our learners. They will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and share in our ethos of inclusive learning.
