Streetly Academy is seeking a Teacher of Mathematics.

Posted: Tuesday 16 June 2026 | Closing date: Sunday 28 June 2026 | Start date: Ideally Autumn Term, also considering Spring/January 2027

Salary: MPS/UPS + benefits

Contract: Permanent, Full Time (also part time considered)

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging mathematics lessons that encourage active learning and motivation.
  • Set challenging yet attainable targets for students from all backgrounds and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support department initiatives, and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress monitoring.
  • Provide feedback and additional support to help students succeed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified teacher with a passion for mathematics.
  • Experienced and enthusiastic team player who can bring mathematics to life in the classroom.
  • Committed to professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Experience teaching mathematics, particularly at post-16 level (Level 1 TEEP will be provided).
  • Applications welcomed from experienced teachers in mathematics.
