M2 – UP3 plus SEN1 responsibility point
This is a fantastic opportunity for a very special teacher to join a team of exceptional staff and children on an exciting phase in their journey. The role supports the opening of a new Specialist Resource Provision and involves working with an existing SEMH provision or a new communication and interaction provision.
About the role
The position requires working with a small group (four adults and eight children) and collaborating with all school provisions, including mainstream staff and teams at Rosedale.
- Plan and deliver inclusive teaching and support for children with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Co‑operate with Level 3 TAs and additional Level 2 teaching assistants.
- Facilitate the integration of students into mainstream classrooms when appropriate.
- Work alongside our HOPE Team, school therapist and additional specialist staff.
- Support the development of routines, boundaries and warm, responsive relationships.
About you
The ideal candidate is kind, compassionate, curious, solution‑focused and committed. You should:
- Have experience working with children with communication and interaction differences, with or without diagnoses.
- Be trained or familiar with Nurture, trauma‑informed responses and relational practice.
- Show a belief that all children have the right to an education that meets their needs.
- Be ready to handle emotionally demanding days while maintaining a positive, reflective approach.
