We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Site Support Worker to join our experienced and supportive site team. The role is 35 hours per week, with a salary on the NJC Scale 7–11 (£26,403–£28,142 FTE, depending on experience). It is a full‑time contract, all year round, with flexibility required, including occasional out‑of‑hours work. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop practical skills and gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of site management within a busy and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day‑to‑day site maintenance, student supervision, repairs, and general upkeep
- Support the security of the premises, including opening and closing the site
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for students, staff, and visitors
- Assist with room setups for school events and external lettings
- Carry out basic health and safety checks as required
- Drive the school minibus when needed (training will be provided if necessary)
- Work flexibly as part of the site team to meet the needs of the school
