Overview
Due to the retirement of our much-loved Site Manager, we are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, conscientious and self‑motivated person to join our team. Your role will be key to maintaining our school site, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community and being an integral part of our dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Locking and unlocking the school and carrying out security checks on the building
- Carrying out and recording all checks, including maintaining all Health and Safety records
- Maintenance of the school property and grounds, including liaising with contractors
- Monitoring site stock and ordering supplies
- Experience of DIY and the ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently. Ideally, you will possess a recognised trade qualification (please specify)
- Attending any job‑related training courses, as required
- Undertaking cleaning duties, whilst managing the school cleaning team
Qualifications
Previous Experience Is Essential. The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.
Hours
Monday to Friday (term time): 6.00am – 10.00am and 2.00pm – 5.30pm. Monday to Friday (holidays): 8.00am – 3.30pm. Friday (during school holidays): 8.00am – 3.00pm. Hours can be flexible to meet the needs of the school.
