Walsall Council requires hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners to join our team at various locations within the borough. In return, we offer excellent pay and holiday entitlements.

Responsibilities:

  • Vacuuming
  • Sweeping
  • Washing
  • Polishing
  • Dusting
  • Emptying litter bins
  • Deep cleaning
  • Using powered equipment as required

About you:

You must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and machinery, and be able to maintain required standards of cleanliness and presentation within schools and outlying buildings. You will be expected to follow all operating procedures to ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.

Position details:

  • Butts Primary School - Hours per week: 10.15hrs – Start Time: 3.30pm (39 weeks per year)
  • Hillary Primary School - Hours per week: 11hrs – Start Time: 3.15pm (39 weeks per year)
  • Abbey Primary School - Hours per week: 10hrs – Start Time: 3.15pm (38 weeks per year)
