Victoria Academies Trust wishes to appoint a learning support assistant for five mornings a week – 20 hrs per week to join our successful and supportive staff team at this wonderful school. The role will provide support for children in class who have special educational needs.
Role and responsibilities
You will be working very closely with the Inclusion Manager and other staff within the class to support both academic progress and basic pragmatics. Experience of working with children with ASD would be an advantage. Experience of basic child development and good maths and literacy skills are essential.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expects all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will depend on a successful DBS and two references. Whitehall Nursery and Infant School is fully committed to the safeguarding of all children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and records check. For all shortlisted candidates, we will carry out online checks as part of our safeguarding due diligence.
