Overview of Pelsall Village School – Teaching Assistant Vacancy from September 2026 for our Specialist Resourced Provision.

L2 Teaching Assistant – 28 HRS P/WEEK term time only. Actual Salary - £17,185.66 to £18,317.58. Temporary contract for 1 year – With the intention of becoming Permanent.

At Pelsall Village School, we are really excited about our newly opened Specialist Resource Provision. These are specialist places commissioned by the local authority in mainstream settings. We are extremely proud to be able to offer these specialist places to children with complex additional needs but who can benefit from all that a mainstream setting has to offer too. This is an outcome of Walsall’s Specialist Provision Review and part of the development of a number of similar settings across Walsall. This is a real opportunity to shape the future of SEND provision in Walsall and a significant professional development opportunity for the right people.
