Position: Federation Pastoral Learning Mentor – Permanent – Grade 6 SCP 18-22 – 37 hours per week (term time only) – To start: 1st September 2026
Overview: Blue Coat C.E. Infant and Junior Schools' Federation is a three‑form entry federation with over 650 children across its infant and junior schools. The schools are committed to high standards and a strong Christian ethos, serving a multi‑faith community with robust parental support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral learning mentorship across the infant and junior schools.
- Supervise and support staff in pastoral matters.
- Co‑ordinate multi‑agency liaison and safeguarding activities.
- Work collaboratively across the federation to promote student well‑being.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a pastoral learning mentor or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, liaise with external agencies, and manage safeguarding responsibilities.
- Suitable DBS enhanced clearance and at least two professional references (required for appointment).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Salary: £32,758-£34,811 FTE (actual salary £29,206-£31,276)
