Salary: G10: £47,181 – £50,269 per annum.
Employment: Fixed‑term, part‑time post: 29.6 hours (4 days) per week, 24‑month contract. Public Health Department with an honorary NHS contract.
Role Overview: Newly developed role in collaboration with the National Centre for Creative Health that builds and delivers a creative health system model linking health, social care and cultural sector to enhance neighbourhood‑level care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a creative health system model and build relationships with cultural organisations, primary care networks, social prescribers, NHS trusts and council.
- Assess population needs using national evidence and local sources to facilitate evidence‑based creative health interventions.
- Convening and facilitating local creative health networks; organising system‑wide or borough‑level meetings, workshops and communities of practice.
- Ensure creative health supports local neighbourhood priorities such as frailty, mental health and long‑term conditions across the life course.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in psychology, medicine, nursing or a related field.
- Experience in arts, culture and health or social prescribing.
- Significant experience developing Creative Health, arts for wellbeing, VCSE or community‑based projects.
- Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills; ability to manage multiple demands.
