What are we looking for?

We require hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners to join our team at various locations within the borough – in return, we offer excellent pay, holiday entitlements and a supportive work environment.

About the job – duties will include:

  • Vacuuming
  • Sweeping
  • Washing
  • Polishing
  • Dusting
  • Emptying litter bins
  • Deep cleaning
  • Using powered equipment as required

About you:

The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals and machinery. You will need to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our schools and outlying buildings. You will be expected to follow all operating procedures to ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.

Details of positions:

  • Streetly School x5 – 16hrs per week, start 3.30pm (4 positions); 10hrs per week, start 6.45am (1 position) (39 weeks per year)
  • Lindens Primary School – 10.30hrs per week, start 3.30pm (38 weeks per year)
  • Blue Coat Junior School – 10hrs per week, start 3.30pm (39 weeks per year)
  • Meadow View Primary School X4 – Hours vary: 12.15hrs (6.00am), 7.30hrs (6.00am), 10.30hrs (6.00am), 12.15hrs (3.30pm) (39 weeks per year)
  • St Thomas of Canterbury – 11.30hrs per week, start 3.30pm (38 weeks per year)
  • Whetstone Fields Primary School X2 – 12.30hrs (3.15pm), 11.00hrs (3.15pm) (39 weeks per year)
  • Pelsall Campus – 10hrs per week, start 3.30pm (39 weeks per year)
