Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy is seeking an Attendance Assistant to promote good attendance, reduce persistent absence and support vulnerable pupils and families.
The role involves home visits and welfare checks, under the direction of the Attendance Officer, to identify and remove barriers to school attendance.
The postholder will be a link between the academy and families, helping to prioritise attendance and ensure every child is safe, engaged and able to access education regularly.
