Pheasey Park Farm Primary School and Early Years Centre provides full day care for children aged 0 months to 4 years, with wraparound care for 3 and 4 year olds, as well as before/after school provision and holiday clubs. This is a permanent, 28 hours per week, term-time role, with salary PSP 1-4 (£25467 - £25988 full-time equivalent) or £12.21 - £12.46 per hour. Start date: as soon as possible following pre-employment checks.
Location: Pheasey Park Farm Early Years Centre, Wimperis Way, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 7DH.

Responsibilities
- To assist Room Leaders in providing an organised, welcoming and stimulating learning environment for all children.
- Supporting all children in achieving their developmental milestones.
- To implement the planned programme of activities as arranged by the Room Leader.
- To carry out children’s observations to support the assessment of their learning and development.
- To communicate with parents to develop a positive relationship that supports the children’s well-being.
Qualifications and requirements
- The post will work under the direction of the Early Years Centre Manager/Assistant Head Teacher.
- Successful applicants will be team players and demonstrate excellent organisational, numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
- Be aware of and adhere to the Trust’s and school’s policies and procedures in connection with Child Protection and Safeguarding.
- All appointments will be subject to an Enhanced DBS and barred list check, plus other employment checks including at least two satisfactory references, right to work in the UK and relevant qualifications.
