ResponsibilitiesYou will act as the strategic lead for inclusion across the Trust, working closely with senior leaders and Headteachers to ensure our provision is legally compliant and leading on policy implementation and best practice. You will build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring schools have well-designed and led provision that optimises the learning environment with the funding available. The role requires drive, diplomacy, tenacity, coupled with in-depth knowledge and understanding of regulations, statutory guidance and the inclusion landscape.
Qualifications- Be a qualified teacher with at least 3 years of managing and advising on SEND provision within a primary or secondary school
- Have knowledge of the Ofsted framework and understanding of inclusion
- Understand 'Every Child Achieving and Thriving (2026)' and have the capacity and experience to implement new changes
- Have the interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Be proficient in understanding, interpreting and implementing legislation and statutory guidance
- Have experience of devising and delivering training to groups of staff
