The Role

We are seeking a skilled, nurturing and suitably qualified Level 3 EYFS Learning Support Practitioner to join our nursery setting on a permanent basis. The role supports the school’s inclusive, child‑centred practice and is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of early childhood development and a passion for supporting young children, including those with additional and complex needs.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Share our Christian ethos and school values and demonstrate these consistently in practice
  • Hold a relevant EYFS qualification (e.g. Level 3 Early Years or equivalent)
  • Have experience working within Early Years and a secure understanding of the EYFS Framework
  • Have experience supporting children with a range of needs, including intimate care where required
  • Be calm, patient, caring and nurturing
  • Be skilled in supporting learning through play, small‑group interventions and 1:1 support
  • Be flexible, proactive and an effective team member
  • Have high expectations of themselves and others

Hours and Salary

31.25 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week. Grade D, SCP 9-17, (£27,254 - £31,022); Actual Salary £20,539 – £23,984 per annum.
