Position Details
- Role: Teacher for Year 1 & 2 small group, focusing on Drawing Club and Maths Club with special educational needs.
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2027, part‑time (0.5 contract – mornings).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily English lessons using Greg Bottrill’s Drawing Club approach and adapted daily maths lessons based on NCETM Mastering Number and White Rose Maths for a small group of Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
- Provide targeted, high‑quality, structured and creative small‑group interventions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Holds QTS or is working towards it.
- Experience working in Early Years / EYFS settings.
- Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly speech, language and communication needs.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Ability to deliver engaging, creative, and structured small‑group interventions.
- Warm, nurturing approach with high expectations for all pupils.
- Effective teamwork and communication with colleagues and families.
