Wednesbury Oak Academy (SIPS), The Governors, staff team, children and families are seeking a motivational and confident leader to help shape the next phase of the school's journey following the retirement of our current headteacher. We are a stand-alone academy where the children are at the βHEARTβ of everything we do. Headteacher role overview
Our new Headteacher will be:

Please ensure application forms are signed when sending via email. This will be a two stage process with tasks taking place on Wednesday 25th February. The panel will review at the end of the day with successful candidates called for the presentation and interviews on Thursday 26th February. Ensure you are available for both dates. All shortlisted candidates will be informed about the presentation requirements.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required for this role. You will join a team of friendly supportive professionals in an academy.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children you are breaking the law if you apply for this post.
