Telford & Wrekin Council Level 3 Teaching Assistant (to support the Wellbeing Team) 32.5 hours per week, term time plus PD days (permanent). An opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant within Southall School. The job involves working across the whole school and with individual students but primarily supporting pupils within the Wellbeing Team. It is desirable for the teaching assistant to have experience of working with children with SEN and complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils within the Wellbeing Team
  • Work across the whole school and with individual students

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 numeracy/literacy skills
  • NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Understanding of Child Protection policies
  • Patience and empathy towards pupils
  • Good command of literacy and numeracy

The post is 32.5 hours per week at scale 3. The salary is £13.90 per hour. The closing date for this post is Tuesday 23rd June at 9 am.
