Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to deliver the Project Support Officer role within the Housing Strategy & Commissioning Team. The team works to increase the supply of, and access to, social, affordable, specialist and supported accommodation for a broad spectrum of client groups. The successful candidate will support the team across a range of delivery models and partners to meet housing need and play a key role in delivering housing solutions that support independence, wellbeing and better outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Housing Strategy & Commissioning team in executing delivery models with external partners.
  • Assist in identifying housing needs and shaping investment priorities using robust data and evidence.
  • Ensure housing solutions are targeted to local needs and adhere to strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Salary range £37,280–£39,152 (SO2).
  • Degree level education and/or relevant Project Management qualification and experience.
  • Work location: Home based with a minimum of one day per week in SW1 and additional office days as required.
  • Working pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week. Job share may be considered.
  • Fixed term contract for two years, with potential for internal secondments.
