Telford & Wrekin Council Term time only plus 5 PD days.

We are seeking caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Support Assistants to join our dedicated team at The Bridge School. Two part‑time positions are available:

  • Lunchtime Support Assistant – 8.17 Hours per week
    Working hours: Monday 11:50am to 2:00pm (includes training); Tuesday to Friday 11:50am to 1:20pm.
  • Lunchtime Support Assistant – 15.67 Hours per week
    Working hours: Monday 11:00am to 2:40pm (includes training); Tuesday to Friday 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils during lunch, including helping with eating/feeding, social interaction and transitions. Training will be provided as necessary.
  • Supervise pupils in the dining hall, classroom, playground and other indoor spaces.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, play and communication.
  • Assist pupils with personal care needs where required.
  • Ensure a safe, calm and inclusive environment at all times.
  • Work as part of a supportive team to uphold the school’s values and safeguarding standards.
