Overview
We are seeking a caring and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour of pupils during the midday break.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and classrooms (wet play)
- Encourage healthy eating and positive play
- Support pupils with medical or dietary needs
- Promote good behaviour and resolve minor conflicts
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained
- Support the school’s ethos and safeguarding policies
Qualifications & Experience
- Enjoy working with children; demonstrate sensitivity and understanding
- Be punctual, courteous, vigilant, and encouraging
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a calm and orderly environment during lunch
- Commit to confidentiality, equality, and pupil wellbeing
- Willing to undertake Paediatric First Aid training if not already qualified
