About the School

Haughton School is a Primary Special School for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs. Children also have additional needs that may relate to communication & interaction difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties, sensory and physical / medical needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the safety, welfare and good conduct of children during the lunchtime break.
  • Pass on information involving the children during the lunchtime to their class team.

Requirements

  • Committed and enthusiastic.
  • Must pass a criminal record self‑disclosure form.
  • Knowledge or experience in safeguarding policy promoting the welfare of children.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
