A wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic, high quality higher level teaching assistant to join our hard‑working, friendly team. We are looking to appoint an experienced HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school. The role combines covering PPA and management time across the primary phase with in‑class group support.

Eligibility

  • Candidates should have a good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 national curriculum and experience teaching classes of pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Be an excellent practitioner.
  • Hold the knowledge to meet the requirements of children with a wide range of needs and abilities.
  • Be highly motivated, resourceful and keen to ensure the highest possible standard of pupil achievement and behaviour management.
  • Communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Be able to start as soon as possible.

Benefits

  • £15.06 – £16.08 per hour (NJC Scale 5).
