Telford & Wrekin Council is looking for someone who is looking to develop skills in marketing and communications. Travel Telford is part of Telford & Wrekin Council’s transport offer covering all forms of travel including buses, walking, cycling, behaviour change, road safety education, street works, passenger transport and strategic network development. We are looking for someone to help grow the brand across the borough.
Responsibilities
- Work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Multi-Channel Marketer and be involved in all aspects of communications including social media posts and content generation, photography, videography, creating marketing materials, updating website information, and creating media relations.
- Undertake up to one day per week of apprenticeship training.
- Promote and deliver various active travel initiatives with a focus on creativity and a willingness to learn; the role involves both school-based and community-based activities and may require some weekend and out-of-hours work.
- Predominantly be based within the Travel Telford team to build knowledge and experience, with opportunities to work with the Corporate Communications Team to develop a wider understanding of the organisation and be involved in corporate projects.
