Redhill Primary Academy is seeking to appoint two highly motivated and imaginative teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning; excellent classroom practitioners with high expectations of attainment and behaviour.

Positions:

  • One full-time position
  • One part-time position (0.5 or 0.7 FTE)

Salary: Main Scale/UPS

Required from: September 2026

School Background: Redhill Primary Academy joined the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust in September 2018. The TTMAT has a proven track record of excellence and is at the forefront of educational developments nationally. Thomas Telford Primary Free School is a new primary school, which joined the TTMAT in September 2025. In June 2024, Redhill Primary Academy was awarded Ofsted’s highest accolade, after being rated Outstanding in all areas of the inspection framework, stating that all pupils thrive both academically as well as personally and socially. Our commitment is to achieve the same outcome at the new Free School.

Application Requirements: This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as stated in the person specification. This school is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All successful candidates are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list (for regulated activity posts) as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2024), such as an online check, suitable references, ID checks, and proof of qualifications (where appropriate). These posts also require checks under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations and Childcare Act 2006, which includes a criminal record self‑disclosure form to be completed and returned prior to interview. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act as amended.
