Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two‑form entry school with three Resource Base classes, set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. We are looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team. You will support classroom teaching, assist pupils with learning and development, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

  • Has experience of working within a primary school setting
  • Has excellent behaviour management skills
  • Builds positive relationships and is a role model for the children they support
  • Has high expectations of pupils and themselves
  • Is able to work closely with, and values the contribution of parents/carers

Requirements

  • This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre‑employment checks, including: teaching enhanced DBS; prohibition check; childcare disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.
