St. John's Middle School A Church of England Academy (SIPS) Required from September 2026 (subject to satisfactory clearance checks). Join a school community where every child is encouraged to flourish. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to play a key role in helping our children thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be reflective and responsive, identifying and reducing barriers to learning and tailoring support to individual needs.

Requirements

  • Suitable safeguarding and an enhanced DBS check; the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Children’s Barring List Check.
  • Ability to speak fluent and spoken English (essential).
  • Commitment to safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children and willingness to undertake relevant safeguarding checks.
