Ridgeway Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within our Specialist Resource Provision, The Nest. The Nest accommodates a range of children with varying needs, including ASC, SEMH and communication and interaction needs.
Salary: Grade 3, SCP 4 (£25,185 per annum). Actual salary £14,323 per annum approx. depending on years of service.
Contract: Fixed term until 17th July 2026 (linked to EHCP funding, so is likely to continue after this time).
Working Hours: Term Time only (38 pupil weeks). Monday to Friday, 25 hrs per week, 9.00 am – 3.30 pm. Additional time may be required on INSET days for training which will receive an additional payment.
Start Date: November 2025.

Qualifications and Experience
- Hold an NVQ L2/L3 Qualification or equivalent.
- Have a good level of English and Maths skills.
- Experience of supporting children with ASC, SEMH or communication & interaction needs would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
