Salary
£26,409 – £32,654 (Scale point 9 – 22, Full Time, TTO). Actual salary approximately £23,191 based on scale point 9.

About the school
Waverley School is an all‑through school for students aged 4–19 and includes a Resource Base for pupils with cognition and learning difficulties. In its most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2021), the school was graded ‘Good’. The school prides itself on state‑of‑the‑art facilities, a strong staff team and values of Humanity, Equality, Aspiration and Respect.
Responsibilities
Support pupils in mainstream and Resource Base settings. Encourage, motivate and enthuse pupils to promote individual progress and social collaboration. Assist with the integration of Resource Base pupils into mainstream education and nurture the needs of those within the Resource Base. Work as part of a team to support each child to reach their best potential and develop the skills needed to become independent young adults.
Qualifications & Requirements
Pass the personal specification for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will need to meet the person specification in order to be offered the post. Shortlisted candidates will be subject to online checks in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’.
