Teaching Assistant Permanent, part-time 27.5 hours a week. Flexible options and Job Share available. Term Time Only plus INSET days. Salary: Grade 5 (SCP 6 – 9) £25,989 – £27,254 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £16,773.78 – £17,590.23 per annum.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate to offer support to students, to deliver small group interventions and lessons for students who have additional Literacy needs, over and above that of their peers.

Whether you hold a Level 3 qualification or have gained equivalent knowledge and skills through hands‑on experience, please refer to the Job Description for the full person specification, knowledge, skills and experience. You will have excellent Maths and English skills and an aptitude to support students to access the curriculum within the classroom, supporting the teacher and in small group interventions as directed by senior staff or teachers. You will be a team player but will also have the ability to work on your own initiative to support our students.
