Hayes Meadow Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant β Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
Grade: 3 Scale point 5 pro rata (FTE β Β£25,583.00)
Contract: Term Time - Permanent contract, up to 30 hours per week over five days
Position begins: September 2026
Responsibilities:
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Communicate effectively, have a positive attitude and work successfully as part of a team within the school.
- Be calm, positive and use own initiative while working within school policies and under guidance of line manager and other senior staff.
- Have experience of working across the primary age range and relevant knowledge of the curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interventions where required for pupils.
- Understand the needs of or have experience working with children with SEND.
- Communicate effectively and positively with parents/carers.
