Watling Street Primary School, Watling Street, Brownhills, Walsall, WS8 7LW

30 hours per week, term time only (G4 – SCP 7-11)

Annual salary £18,413.21 - £19,625.97 per annum

Contract: temporary until March 2027, may be extended subject to budget review

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils from all backgrounds in a caring and flexible manner
  • Work 1:1 with SEN pupils as part of their Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP)
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to facilitate classroom participation and learning
  • Provide a positive role model, maintain patience, calm and flexibility in work

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of pupils; completed online checks prior to interview
  • Relevant experience or training in supporting SEN or pupils with special educational needs preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
