Teaching and Learning Assistant (Jackfield Infant School)
Jackfield Infants School, part of The New Guild Trust, is seeking an outstanding Teaching and Learning Assistant. The successful candidate will work primarily with individual children and with small groups. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to making a difference through inspiring children.
We require a caring, committed and enthusiastic person who has an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 Curriculum. Knowledge and experience of working with children who have specific learning difficulties is desirable. A qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is preferred, with a commitment to working towards NVQ Level 3.
The successful candidate will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- To be able to use their own initiative;
- High expectations of themselves and the children; a commitment to high standards in teaching and learning;
- A positive attitude and be solution focused.
