Position: PE Teacher
Contract Details:
- Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (ECT/Main – Upper Pay Scale)
- Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Permanent, Full Time (subject to teaching across other subjects)
- Start date: September 2026
- Responsible to: Head of Faculty – Assistant Headteacher
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across a range of age groups.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport.
- Manage classroom behaviour and provide support to the physical, social, and personal development of students.
- Support specialist subject teaching as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid eligibility to work in the UK.
- Evidence of teaching qualifications.
- Suitable references.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and a willingness to undergo a disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
