Position: Teacher of Science (Physics Preferred)

Permanent, Full-time or Part-time 0.8 FTE, required from September 2026; offered as TMS – UPS3.

Qualifications

  • Have a degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and Qualified Teacher Status
  • Can teach Science to KS3 and KS4, with a preference for a specialism in physics (other specialisms considered)
  • You are passionate about delivering engaging and high‑quality lessons that inspire students
  • Use innovative teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with SEND
  • Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment
  • Be eager to contribute to extra‑curricular Science activities such as clubs and trips
  • Commit to continuous professional development and working collaboratively within the department
