John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of MFL to join our evolving organisation from January 2027, or earlier if possible.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Modern Foreign Language teaching at KS3 with Spanish or French, and at KS4 (Edexcel curriculum) and KS5 (AQA curriculum).
- Contribute to the development and mastery of a bespoke KS3 curriculum focused on key communicative functions to build confident language users.
- Utilise the Conti pedagogy with listening and extensive processing instruction as the main tool of language acquisition.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop Schemes of Learning and Curriculum Plans.
- Support school inclusion and safeguarding commitments as part of the role.
Qualifications and requirements
- Experience to A level, or this post is suitable for new entrants to the profession.
- Willingness to work flexibly; full-time role; we welcome flexible working arrangements.
