  • 37 hours/week, term time only
  • Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the pastoral team with a focused responsibility for a specific year group, in partnership with the relevant Head of Year.
  • Provide one‑to‑one, small group, and classroom pastoral support to all students in that year group.
  • Deliver planned pastoral provision and respond to day‑to‑day incidents, including conflict resolution and incident handling in line with school policy.
  • Promote positive values, attitudes and good student behaviour, encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own conduct.

Qualifications

  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Passionate, driven, and willing to make a difference to pupils’ lives and the wider community.
  • Fluency in spoken English – essential requirement under the Immigration Act 2016.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
