Three Peaks Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (SEND) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling every child to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Have experience of supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs within a primary school setting
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusion and ensuring positive outcomes for all learners
- Be confident in delivering targeted interventions and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Work effectively alongside teachers, the SENDCo, parents and external agencies
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proactive, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Promote pupils’ wellbeing, confidence and independence
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development
