Short Wood Primary School is looking to appoint the following member of staff as soon as possible. Supervisory Assistant (Lunchtimes) – 2 positions available to start from September 2026.

To supervise the children during the lunchtime period. The role of the Lunchtime Supervisor is to assist in ensuring that our lunchtimes run as smoothly as possible and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in school.

The applicant must be able to communicate in English fluently and effectively. 1 hour per day during the lunchtime period 11.30am-1.30pm dependent on the area of school covered, with some flexibility as per the needs of the school. Experience in working in an Early Years setting would be an advantage.

5 hours per week (1 hour per day), NJC Scale 1 £12.85 p/h FTE. £24,796 p/a pro rata.
