Position: Student Liaison & Security Officer Required from August 2026 to contribute to a safe, secure and supportive college environment, ensuring that students are able to learn, thrive and succeed. The post holder will play a key role in promoting positive conduct across the college, monitoring behaviour and responding to safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor access to the college site and patrol buildings.
  • Challenge unauthorised access or unacceptable behaviour where necessary.
  • Support attendance monitoring and work closely with curriculum and support teams.
  • Liaise with parents and external agencies to help remove barriers to student success.
Requirements
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers must share this commitment in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
  • Prior to appointment, candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
