The Headteacher and Governors of St. John's CE (A) Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and welcoming Senior Administration and Finance Assistant to join our highly committed business team. The successful applicant will share our vision and passion for supporting education and promoting our Christian ethos.
The successful candidate will need to be organised, reliable, and able to work effectively in this busy environment. Experience in finance or a school environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Under the direction of our School Business Manager, they will play a key role in ensuring that office procedures run smoothly and will contribute to the financial and business aspects of the school. They will view their role as crucial in supporting senior leaders, the wider team, and our families to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
As a key member of the team and a familiar face to our families, you will also need to demonstrate professionalism and flexibility, and be able to solve problems on a daily basis. This will help support our school community and ensure that we can provide the very best for our children and families.
St. John’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
