St Werburgh's Primary School (Part of The Moorlands Primary Federation) is looking to recruit a personable, organised and highly efficient practitioner to work in our busy school office at St Werburgh's C.E. Primary School, Kingsley.
Starting date: As soon as possible, Grade 5 SCP 6-9 £25,989 - £27,254 (£8,294 – £8,697 Pro-Rota) for 41 weeks per year, 47.36 pay weeks.
Working hours: 13 hours / 2 days per week, 8:30 – 15:30 (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break). Working days to be agreed with successful candidate.
We are looking for:
- An organised, effective administrator who can multi-task, filter enquiries and prioritise;
- A dedicated, caring and energetic team-player, who is self-motivated towards all aspects of school life;
- Ideally experience of working in a busy school administrative environment;
- An empathetic member of the team to be the first port of call for all school enquiries.
Regular tasks and duties include:
- Oversee school reception;
- Answer school telephones and make calls;
- Operate school email systems and other communications;
- Manage school post;
- Process school dinner money and other income;
- Manage school registers;
- Operate the school MIS, Arbor;
- Manage data returns;
- Process educational visits;
- Process Safeguarding and health and safety procedures;
- Produce school letters, newsletters and update school/Trust website;
- Manage school orders and invoices.
