Windsor Academy Trust - Sir Thomas Boughey Academy, Safeguarding Officer – required as soon as possible. Permanent role - 37 hours per week – Term Time only – Grade 6. Starting salary £30284 (actual). This is an exciting opportunity to join our Student Services Team and really make a difference to the experience of our young people whilst with us at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy.
You will work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Student Services Team and other colleagues to support the safeguarding practices within our school. Sir Thomas Boughey Academy is part of the Windsor Academy Trust where the support, guidance and cross-school work is of a high quality. We firmly believe in the importance of all of our students achieving an excellent education, which in turn enables our students to believe that they can achieve their dreams with hard work, determination and self-motivation.

ResponsibilitiesYou will work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Student Services Team and other colleagues to support the safeguarding practices within our school. We have a clear, whole school approach to behaviour for learning, which is adopted by all staff and supported by leaders at all levels. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and hardworking, and someone who enjoys, even relishes, a school environment.
Qualifications and RequirementsAn enhanced DBS with barred list check applies to all roles. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, online searches of shortlisted candidates may take place as part of our due diligence processes.
